Cycling in the United States
The United States has a spectacular network of mountain biking and cycling routes throughout the country, both in urban and rural areas and in any imaginable terrain. You can rent bicycles in all major cities and, in many cases, through shared bike stations, making it a brilliant alternative to explore a city (especially in the summer), either for an hour, an afternoon or throughout the day. - Illinois
The Sam Vadalabene Great River Road Bike Trail (trail bike Great River Road Sam Vadalabene) in Alton, Illinois, is just a 40-minute ride by car from St. Louis, Missouri. It offers panoramic views of exuberant beauty on a winding 35-kilometer route along the banks of the Mississippi River (Mississippi River) and the Illinois River (Illinois River) and within the Pere Marquette State Park (Pere Marquette State Park).
- Ohio
Ohio also has a large amount of several significant areas to go, including the Little Miami Scenic Trail (trail scenic Little Miami) and the Buckeye Trail (trail Buckeye). It is a trail of 2300 kilometers on the border of the state, starting near Cleveland and across the region of Hocking Hills (hills Hocking) and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park (National Park Cuyahoga Valley), which has a panoramic view. The United States are also home to many festivals of cycling that are always on the increase as, for example, the Ozark Mountain Bike Fest, a festival that is held every month of April and where you go through the exciting trails of Devil’s Den State Park (Devil’s Den State Park) in West Fork, Arkansas. The Wilmington Grand Prix in Delaware, the AMGEN Tour of California (a race of 8 days, and the most important of the United States), the Tour of the Gila in Silver City, New Mexico and the Black Hills Fat Tire Festival (near Mount Rushmore [mount Rushmore]), in South Dakota) are all in May. On the other hand, the tour of Lawrence, in Kansas, and the Crested Butte Bike Week, in Colorado, take place every June.
